The graphs below show average monthly, daily and hourly readings of water Turbidity, PH and Residual Chlorine for water produced at the Cikokol plant.

Water quality is decribed as Turbidity and is measured in NTU - nephelometric turbidity units. The more suspended solids in the water, the murkier it becomes and the higher the NTU reading. The PH level of the water indicates whether it is alkaline or acidic. An acceptable pH level for drinking water is between 6.5 and 8.5. Below pH 6.5 is too acidic and above pH 8.5 is too alkaline. Chlorine is added to the water to kill bacteria.
